Questions to ask your wedding photographer
Booking your wedding photographer is sort of a big deal. These are your memories and moments we are talking about, so you want to make sure you bring on a photographer who understands how important their role is and ultimately can provide the vision you have. When picking a wedding photographer you need to know what is important to you and what type of images you are drawn to. Here is a guide on what to ask your wedding photographer, from 2022 bride and a Minnesota wedding photographer.
Minnesota Fall Wedding
In true Minnesota fashion, a snow dusting turned into a gorgeous and perfect wedding day for these two. Getting to work with these two on their wedding day was so much fun and I definitely wish I could have been as laid back of a bride as Katie was. Getting to photograph their day was so special and I am so grateful to get to be part of so many wedding days as a Minnesota Wedding Photographer.
Buffalo River State Park Engagement Session
I love a good sunrise engagement session, and let me tell you Adam and Jenn did not disappoint. After a brief hiccup getting to our location at Buffalo River State Park, we ended up having a gorgeous morning to photograph some engagement pictures at sunrise. Also, did I mention they brought their puppy to their engagement pictures? Yeah, this engagement session was amazing.
Buffalo River State Park Engagement Session
Being a Minnesota wedding photographer, I get to explore so many new places… as well as return to some of my favorite locations. For this engagement session, I got to return back to one of my favorite spots near Fergus Falls and Fargo, Buffalo River State Park. But this time it was for a golden hour engagement session. And I thought Buffalo River State Park was amazing for winter sessions… but it only gets better for summer sessions as well!
Excelsior Minnesota Wedding
Abby and Kobe had a gorgeous July wedding in Excelsior Minnesota. I absolutely loved being part of their day as their wedding photographer. Everything Abby planned was so intentional and thought out. From getting married in the church her mom and dad got married in, to redesigning her mother’s dress and having such meaningful decorations at the reception. It was so amazing to get to see how much thought Abby and Kobe put into planning their day with the people the care about most at the center of it.
Watertown Minnesota Maternity Session
Got to travel back to my hometown of Watertown Minnesota to capture this adorable family maternity photo shoot for my cousin! When getting to work with young kids, specifically toddlers, things can get a little crazy, so I am sharing some tips on how to keep your kiddos a happy camper during your next session!
Watertown Minnesota Graduation Session
Super excited to be photographing more Cap and Gown Graduation sessions this summer! Plus for this one I got to travel to my hometown of Watertown Minnesota to photograph my sisters high school graduation! We ventured to an old bridge and town and spent a few minutes taking some photos of her in her cap and gown! Biggest win of the night however was the magical sunset we had at the end!
Wedding Albums
As a Minnesota wedding photographer, there is nothing more important to me, which is making sure my wedding couples get their wedding pictures printed. Once I realized how priceless it is to own a wedding album that can be passed down for generations. I made sure to have wedding albums included in all my packages.
Let’s Talk About Wedding Details
As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I selfishly love shooting wedding details for obvious reasons. But have you ever thought about why having your wedding details photographed on your wedding day is important to you?
