Buffalo River State Park Engagement Session
If you can’t tell after my third engagement session blog post about Buffalo River State Park…. I love this location. It is pretty year-round and has so many gorgeous spots for sunrise and sunset. And for this engagement session, Adam and Jenn woke up early with me to watch the sunrise and capture some stunning images.
Now in true Jordan Elizabeth Photography fashion, I didn’t think to look at the park’s calendar. And when I pulled in I was informed that we could not enter the actual park because of a…. youth deer hunting event. Now I don’t hunt so I didn’t even think about how oh, its the end of October, and hunting starts. So unless we wanted to whip out our blaze orange and take engagement pictures in it, the park wasn’t going to work how I had hoped. But the best thing about Buffalo River State Park is that it is right next to the science center. So after a quick change of locations, we ended up at the science center and it did not disappoint. It was actually better than the spots I had picked out for the session anyways. On top of the grassy hills, we had a stunning sunrise. Adam and Jenn were true naturals in front of the camera and so wonderful to work with.
They also brought their puppy…. who was the cutest little ball of cuteness I have ever seen. Being only 6 weeks old I think, the little pup was so tiny and when they put her in the grass she like disappeared. It was so adorable watching her waddle around in the grass. Adam and Jenn were telling me how this little pup was the only one that survived the litter because the mom’s milk never came in. So they took little Pamona in and bottle-fed her and she really is the sweetest thing (sorry I am a sucker for puppies, especially during your session).
But anyways Jenn originally sent me some images of inspiration and I was so excited once I saw them. It is always so much fun getting to try new ideas that my clients have. It pushes me creatively to learn something new! So anyways here are Adam and Jenn’s images and I am so excited about their wedding next year!
