Intimate Vow Renewal at Sable Inn Foley, MN
This intimate vow renewal at the Sable Inn Bed and Breakfast in Foley, Minnesota could not have been a more perfect way to celebrate this couple and the life that they have created together. It was such a blessing to be able to witness a true perfect pair and get to know them throughout the evening, to witness and be able to capture so many perfect moments was so incredible!
When you start a brand new relationship, all of your energy and focus goes into getting to know each other and making time to spend together just the two of you. You plan epic dates, adventures and you focus on each other more than anything! But sometimes life happens, you get engaged, you plan your wedding, you get hitched, you start big adult jobs, grow your family, watch your kids grow up, and you tackle everything else life has to throw at you. With everything adding up, your relationship and focusing on one another gets lower and lower on the priority list for some. Then you realize its been months and months since you have had a date night, or even took sometime to get to know each other again!
When I met this beautiful couple I was so inspired by their love for one another, it was so amazing to see real life soulmates right in front of me. But like so many, life happened to these two and they hadn’t had a date night in awhile! They had their anniversary coming up so they took the opportunity to plan something special for themselves. It was time to celebrate themselves again and the beautiful life they have created again, and what better way to do that, then reminding each other of the vows they spoke years ago and reminding them what they mean to each other and renewing those vows again! And getting some pretty pictures taken!
It was so hard to be able to pick a favorite moment from this night, from the beautiful messages spoken to each other, to meeting their adorable kiddos, a sunset canoe ride, and even listening to Alan serenading Christy on his guitar, this night could not have been more perfect! Christy and Alan’s love for one another is truly amazing and I was so blessed to be able to see it for myself, they have created a beautiful life and love story together and it was so amazing to meet them!
The vow renewal took place at the stunning Sable Inn Bed and Breakfast in Foley, Minnesota. The gorgeous home was built in 1901 by John Foley, the current owners loved the home for its beauty and history so they bought it in 2007 and moved it 1 mile out of town to its new location and restored it to its former glory. Turning it into a bed and breakfast they love being able to share the history with everyone who stays there! They are also some of the sweetest people I have met!
With the help of Trisha at Xpserience Photography and Kari from White Loon Events, they created a perfect night for Christy and Alan to renew their vows. The cake was created by a very talented baker named Emily Tiritilli, she owns Emily Grace Cakes in Prior Lake, MN (and she is only 18!?). Christy got her hair and makeup done at the Arbor Hair Studio in St. Cloud, which only enhanced her natural beauty!
