Well let’s get right to it,

Hi! I am Jordan, owner and lead photographer of Jordan Elizabeth Photography. Jordan Elizabeth Photography is a Minnesota-based Wedding and Portrait Photography business. Directly serving the Fergus Falls and Lakes Area region of Minnesota but will travel anywhere and everywhere to document your moments and memories.

I have recently come to the realization that I have been blogging for almost two years now and have never done an introduction of myself on the blog. So better late than never I guess. So hi again! Welcome to the blog, I like to share a variety of things here. Obviously, I share the newest work/sessions that I have been up to. I like to share session tips, break down wedding days and dive into the nitty-gritty. I have recently started sharing inspiration ideas like elopement ideas or where to elope. As well as sharing my personal travels and experiences.

Now more about myself,

My name is Jordan(duh), I picked up my first camera when I was in 6th grade and fell in love with documenting the world through my eyes. I loved taking photos of nature, especially flowers. So I started my photography journey dreaming about being the next huge landscape/flower photographer.

Now that obviously didn’t work out, but I still love to photograph nature and try and take time before and after every session to document the scenery as well. Being outside in nature is my happy place and I love to explore it. Travel is something that I cannot get enough of and getting to experience new places is the best feeling in the world. If I am not planning my next adventure you can find me reading about someone else’s adventure. I love a good book to curl up with and go on an adventure with. Even while traveling I almost always have 2-3 books with me.

Something that I value strongly is learning. I am always looking for what I can learn from situations, people, places etc. There is always something to be learned no matter where you are. I also challenge myself to learn more about myself and what I am capable of. When I started focusing on myself, I learned that I love structure, and will try and create it wherever I am. I think that is probably why I love building wedding timelines for my couples and have systems in place to keep myself organized. Being organized helps me balance my crazy life but I am thankful for all the things I have going out!

Outside of working my full-time bank job and running my wedding and portrait photography business, I am a new step-mom and just recently married the love of my life back in September of 2022! Together we are trying to navigate and explore this crazy world and life and Mitchell is the best partner to experience it with! And to add to all the chaos that is being newlyweds, being in a blended family we also have 2 pets a puppy Apollo and a cat Blue (who do not like each other… yet fingers crossed on liking each other one day). Most days you can find us walking around Lake Alice here in the heart of Fergus Falls or at the hockey rink! (embracing this other new title of hockey parent with full excited open arms!) We also are slowly DIYing our 1919 home here in Fergus Falls while still taking our little family on all the adventures! (stay tuned for my upcoming blogs about our San Diego travels and our kitchen remodel).

If you can keep up with all that craziness nice job! And that about sums up my life! I am so excited to see where this little business of mine takes me and my family and hope you continue to follow along!
