Kylie’s Senior Session
Fergus Falls Senior Session
Another incredible senior session for this years senior season! I am so excited to be sharing Kylie’s senior session up on the blog today! It was so much fun getting to know Kylie and photographing her senior session. Kylie is a very busy lady, she is involved in FFA, Gymnastics, Tennis, Horse Showing, and she helps out at the racetrack in the pit for her Dad. I am always so blown away at how many things a person can be involved in. On top of it all Kylie is preparing for her after school journey to becoming a cosmologist!
Kylie had a gorgeous night for her senior session! We started out at Kylie’s house to do some pictures with her horse. I absolutely love going to locations that are special to seniors. Kylie’s house had a gorgeous hill and the sun was so gorgeous through the trees. On their property they also had a stunning willow tree where we were able to do some portraits with Kylie’s FFA jacket.
After starting at Kylie’s house we made our way into town and stopped at the Fergus Falls High School (Kenney Secondary School) tennis courts to do some images highlighting Kylie’s sports. We did some fun tennis shots as well as hung some of her other uniforms on the fence for a couple. I love getting to try new ideas and play around with the different props during senior sessions.
Next up we headed over to Grotto Park (yes the one with the big Otter) to run around in the wildflower field there. Something I love most about Fergus Falls is all the spots around town that are so photogenic. It makes being a senior portrait photographer so easy. Having a whole wildflower right in town is so amazing, I have been eyeballing it all summer as my son plays baseball at the field at Grotto Park every week. So I am so glad that during Kylie’s senior session I was able to finally utilize it.
We ended Kylie’s session at the raceway to take some photos with her dads car. This offered a new challenge for me as I have never done senior pictures with a racecar. It was super fun though playing around with how to pose with the car and trying new ways to be creative!
I am absolutley obsessed with Kylie’s senior pictures and I am so excited to share her final images on the blog today! This summer has been incredible and I am so thankful that photographing seniors is my job,
