I cannot believe I am writing my last class of 2023 senior blog post right now. But wow what a way to end my senior season! Zoe knocked her session out of the park. For Zoe’s senior session we met at Phelps Mill Park. Now fall senior sessions can be risky because you can either have gorgeous warm weather with the fall leaves glowing. Or you can have cold and windy. So in Zoe’s case she got both? Her session started out a little chilly and very windy. But we found some good spots out of the wind. But then (hopefully Zoe if your reading this you do not think I am crazy) at the end of her session the sun poked out, the leaves were glowing and everything was gorgeous, still windy, but at least Zoe got some golden light during her session!

I was also super excited because I had never used Phelps Mill for a senior session, let alone fall senior session. I had been there previously for summer family sessions but I was looking forward to seeing how this stunning place would be in the fall. And I will definitely be returning for future sessions hopefully, this location was gorgeous!

After Zoe’s senior session I was just thinking about all the seniors I got to photograph this year and I am just so grateful to be able to photograph so many senior sessions (especially in my first year of living here in Fergus Falls) and I am so excited to get to meet the class of 2024 this upcoming senior season and to get to know them, explore new places and to continue to learn and grow my senior session side of my photography business.

So here it is :) my last 2023 senior of this year!
