Abby’s Senior Session
FERGUS FALLS SENIOR SESSION
AHHHH! Another golden glowy senior session in the books! I had so much fun photographing in downtown Fergus Falls for Abby’s senior session. I have been living in Fergus Falls Minnesota for almost two years now and this was my first session using our downtown as a backdrop! And it did not disappoint I was so excited to finally use all the amazing spots that I have been eyeing for years. Like I have had them pinned on my apple map since before I even moved here! During Abby’s senior session we did a lot of walking! And maybe this isn’t something you typically think about when booking a senior session. For Abby’s session we started downtown Fergus Falls and walked up and down the blocks, behind the buildings, up an alley then down across to a Riverwalk and then back up to the car. It was sorta crazy how many spots we hit in a short amount of time. And it really made me realize how much walking can be involved in a senior session! Now obviously every senior session is different. I could go to the same location 10 times in a row and it will look a little different every time. Just from different lighting, angels, wrong turns or finding new spots. That is one of the main reasons I love Fergus Falls. There is so much variety in a small area.
Abby also showed me a new spot in town called Butterfly Park. It is the cutest little flower garden/park behind the hospital. I have never noticed it before but it is for sure on my list of location ideas for seniors now! It was so cute and I loved all of the flower and grasses in this little park.
Finally we ended Abby senior session with a little blue hour action at Prairie Wetlands Learning Center. She was blessed with a gorgeous pink sunset and thankfully the bugs stayed away during her session. I am absolutely obsessed with her images and I am so excited to be sharing them on the blog today!
